Statistics: Russia’s GDP grows 1.6% in January–June

MOSCOW, Aug 17 (PRIME) -- Russia’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew 1.6% on the year in January–June, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Friday citing preliminary data.

Previously, the service registered an increase of Russia’s GDP growth to 1.8% in April–June from 1.3% in January–March.

The economic Development Ministry earlier estimated the economic growth of 1.8% in April–June and of 1.7% in January–June.
